      Rates: 195 - 450 Euros per week All rates shown above include 5% tax. Infants stay free when you bring your own crib. Rates may be higher during some statutory holidays. Please refer to «Sweet Getaways» below. Rates and durations may be negotiable. Please enquire. Rates include: Fresh Linens & Towels once per week; Housekeeping upon departure; Bicycles; Indoor and Outdoor Games; DVD's; Check-in & Check-out times at your discretion (when possible); One free workout at «Gloria's Gym Caldas da Rainha»; Pantry basics upon your arrival may include a selection of coffee, tea, juice, water, fruit or other snacks; Special Amenities depending on season and length of stay. Private transportation (ie: airport transfers) available for an additional charge. Check-in time is after 4pm, or sooner when possible. Check-out time is before noon, or later when possible. Security Deposit of up to 100€ cash (depending upon length of stay) is requested at time of arrival and is fully refundable following positive inspection upon check-out. In the unfortunate event of a cancellation within seven days of arrival you forfeit your deposit. All other cases will be evaluated on an individual basis, the minimum charge being 20€. Upon confirming your reservation, you are responsible for correctly declaring the total number of guests including infants or children and their ages. In the event of any ommissions or false statements, Suites Ermelinda reserves the right to refuse accommodation or to charge additional fees. Deposit is due at time of booking by bank transfer, cheque, money order or credit card via PayPal. For durations up to one week, deposit is the price of the first night. For durations of more than one week, deposit is 20% of the total. The town of Foz do Arelho is located on the spectacular Silver Coast, just 96km north of Lisbon Airport, and 8km west of the municipal capital Caldas da Rainha. We belong to the district of Leiria. The geographical designation for this region is Estremadura. It is also known as Costa de Prata (Silver Coast) and the Região Oeste (Western Region). We are accessible via toll expressways A8 and A1, and also serviced by public transit. Your "Suite" is located near the town centre and only a few minutes walk to Mini-Marts, Bakery, Butcher, Bank, Post-Office, Pharmacy, Beauty Salons & Massage Therapist, Newspaper & Magazine Stand, and a nice selection of cafés, bars and restaurants. Foz do Arelho is a quaint little town, usually quiet, but occasionally exuberant (especially during July and August) with local parties, feasts, live entertainment and sports events. We are positioned in a gifted region in that we boast 2 distinct beach areas... the Óbidos Lagoon is ~1700m away (an enjoyable 24minute walk), and the Atlantic Ocean is just a bit further. They are connected by a natural causeway we call «A Aberta», which literally means "The Opening". Witnessing the power of the North Atlantic high tides here at this area of the beach is quite spectacular! You will also enjoy memorable sunrises & sunsets, moonrises & moonsets, and magnificent star filled skies. The award-winning Ocean Beach (Praia do Mar) is proud to fly Europe's distinguished Blue Flag. During July and August the town provides a free shuttle bus service to the beach. The closest stop is ~900m away and the bus route provides beautiful views of our town and coastline. Foz do Arelho is within short distances to plenty of beautiful cities, towns and villages. To name a few: Óbidos (14km), Nazaré (40km), São Martinho (15km), Peniche (45km), Alcobaça (40km), Batalha (55km), Fátima (65km), Mafra (65km) and Sintra (85km). We have many monuments, palaces and castles to discover and explore, and everywhere you go you will find plenty of cafés & restaurants to enjoy. This is not just a beach destination! All year round there are a variety of sports and cultural events, shows, congresses, fairs and markets. Just a one hour drive away is our beautiful capital city of Lisbon, one of Europe's many jewels!
